Our Recruitment Process
Step 1

Review our job description and apply for the role.
Step 2
Application review
Our recruitment team will review all applications and move candidates fitting our job criteria to the next step
Step 3
Icebreaker call with Recruitment ☎️
We will invite successful candidates for an informal call with recruitment to discuss their experience and what they've been up to most recently.
Step 4
First Stage Interview 🖥️
Our first stage interviews are virtual via MS Teams. This is when candidates will initially meet the hiring manager.
Step 5
Review interviews
We will assess your first-stage interviews and discuss with hiring managers who will be proceeding to second stages.
Step 6
Second Stage Interview 🤝
The second stage interview will be face-to-face in either our Manchester or London office.
Step 6
Offer & Contract 📨
Once the successful candidate has been selected by our recruitment team and hiring managers, we will then proceed with sending the candidate an offer and contract.
Step 7
Onboarding ⛵
We will start your onboarding process once you signed your contract. This will include right to work and referencing.
Step 8
First day at GovNet 🚀
Your first day will consist of an onboarding call with our HR team and also meeting your team.

We review all applications on an ongoing basis but we aim to give initial outcomes in 2 weeks. On occasions when we are extremely busy this maybe longer.

Take a look at our process above! Generally, a successful candidate will have gone through a 2 stage interview with the hiring manager.

We'll accept applications for as long as the role is live online. Usually, our adverts run for six weeks whilst we continuously review and interview candidates throughout this timeframe.
However, if we find an amazing candidate before the advert has closed we will close the role early. Equally, we want to find the perfect fit for our teams and sometimes we have roles open longer until we find that right person.

We think we have a pretty flexible setup here at GovNet and our teams are expected in the office twice per week, however, in the run-up to events we do expect some flexibility.
We have implemented half-day Fridays during the Summer months and recently launched a new work abroad policy allowing employees to work outside of the UK periodically.
